Boy, gotta love the 3.73 gears and 44" swamper combination. That thing must just fly up the hills!

Re: fender trimmin on a new vehicle?

Hahahahahahaha.............oh boy.

I can't see hacking the fenders on a truck that new, lifting an IFS 1/2 ton and fitting 44's to it, or the whole 3.5" body lift idea (lord only knows how they did that)

However, I have to say given the choice between a very tall lift or a lower lift and cutting/trimming/hacking the fenders to run big tires, I'll "modify" the fenders.

Chrome sucks
285/75R16, 255/85R16, & 305/70R16 fit on a stock GM IFS fullsize 4x4 truck when on the stock 16x7 rims.

Re: fender trimmin on a new vehicle?

man i hate to say it but that truck looks badass hugging those 44's so tightly. yeah, obviously it would drive like sh1t and break all the time, but damn look at that front view, brutal!

Re: fender trimmin on a new vehicle?

I bet those CV's don't last long!
That doesn't really look like a superlift?
He probly has to take off in low.
I wonder why he would sell such a GREAT truck?
lol

Re: fender trimmin on a new vehicle?

yeah looks like a 4in rancho up front. But damn that S.O.B
looks stout. Like the look though. Would much rather cut the fenders a little than have a truck with a twelve in suspension. Looks a lot better that way to me.

Re: fender trimmin on a new vehicle?

Yeah, that looks like a rancho subframe to me. And if any of you besides swamper cause he already did, look real close at the cv shafts, is that a an angle or what!!!

Re: fender trimmin on a new vehicle?

Hey I could do that and fit 44's esaly on my truck right?
I mean I have the same amount of lift, I wouldn't tighten the t-bars up that much, I could get some 5.13 gears.
