O/T - I need help with photoshop

I was playing around with some stuff in Photshop 6 and this was about the best I could do. (Notice all the gold *bling* *bling*)

Anybody got any good places to look online for good tutorials?
Is the "Dummies" book any good or should I look for something else.

I sure hope nobody spits hot coffee on themselves when they see this.

Just search like crazy for "photoshop help" on google or something. By the looks of that pic, you do need some help. I hope I don't see that truck on the street.

Re: O/T - I need help with photoshop

I love Google, it's my best freind
Most of the stuff I found there is for version 4 (or 3) and assumes I have all the plugins. I need some docs to download (and print at work on the high speed printers) or purchase for reference since I don't use it at work. I also want to know what plugins people find worthwhile for genral farting around

You have to admit that the pic is pretty funny. Not bad for a rookie

Re: O/T - I need help with photoshop

I believe if you go to http://www.3dcafe.com and click on free stuff then tutorials, then photoshop, it will give some good information. I've never clicked on photoshop so I don't know how much is there, I always just go there for 3dsmax.
