Yep MSD's, but they cost a bit more than conventional wires. So make sure you get some wire looms to keep them away from hot and/or moving parts. My stock looms busted to hell when I tried to squeeze those fat 8.5's in there. I ended up getting some that are mounted using the center valve cover bolts (the kit came with new, longer bolts)
Yeah here's what you do, buy a cheap set of wire looms. I bought MOROSO brand, they were like 5 or 10 bucks. Keeps them in line perfectly and they haven't budged since I put them there. The wires almost form to how you put them anyway b/c they are so thick, and no you can't really use the stock wire looms simply because the wires are much thicker and the plastic is brittle from heat/cold/heat/cold so when you put the 8.5's in the stock locations, they snap. I'll include a picture if I can find it, its somewhere on this site.

I've had MSD, Accel, Mallory, Taylor and some high quality over the counter stuff and others I can't remember. The best, or at least equal to the best is the Summit brand spiral core wires. They are also a deal at $38.
