TPI is waaaayyy better than trottle body. Throttle body just is an electronic carborator. TPI has a single injector for every cylinder and it is mounted over the cumbustion chamber. TPI also gets better gas mileage.
BUT it cost ALOT more.
I'm new to this fuel stuff too. What about sequential multi-port fuel injection (SFI). That's what I have. Puts the gas right into the intake port, I know...and that's all I know. Good? Bad? Better than TPI, or too close to call?

'99 Silverado 2500HD ext. cab/SWB, 6.0L, manual, 4.10's etc. etc.- not even close! no mods yet!
Umm, no it's not. Tuned port injection is just what it says "TUNED" port. Meaning that all the intake runners are tuned exactly alike and to flow the exact same amount of air making it much more efficient. The injectors are in the same location yes. I'm putting a Street & Performance 1800 CFM TPI unit on the wills engine if anyone cares.
