OT- Buick Budget

Allright I have a month to "fix up" the buick before my brother gets home. I think he's going to give me a budget of $500 to get new tires, and an alarm (to lower insurance costs). Anybody have any suggestions as to what tires to buy, and what alarm to get? tire size is 205/70/15.

For the alarm look on ebay for them. YOu might find a good one. As for the tires, something in my head says Goodyear Eagles??? I dont think that is correct, but i remember hearing something like that.

uh, 205, look into Kumho...i cant remember the number i think they say Kumho 235 on the side in big black letters. My Scottsdale has them on the front, and a couple of my buddies cars have them, good tires, and should be real cheap. THey were only 55 for 235/75/R15 so i wouldnt think they sould be more than 50 for 205s.

Re: OT- Buick Budget

awesome, yeah yukon I was looking at the goodyear eagles, they run 85 per tire. probably a little much. since the more i spend on tires, the smaller my limit for an alarm is, and vice versa.

I've just been lookin on discount tire's page though, now that I think about it, the car wont be here much longer, and discount tire isn't EVERYWHERE. I think i may be better off going through some place like sears or something. a place that is EVERYWHERE. anybody know if sears offers lifetime balance/rotation like discount tire does?
