best wheels/rims for 3\" body lift

I just got a 3" body lift for my '96 1/2 ton Silverado Z71. Anyone have any recommendations for the best wheel size/ tire size? I am pretty sure I want 33" BFG All Terrains, but whats the best wheels to get? Are there any issues with running 15x10 rims on my 6 bolt pattern? 16x 8 rims come stock. What offset would work best? Thanks!

I'd suggest taking a look at our handy search function, unfortunately our wheel/tire issue has been done to death.
Now, you're getting 33/12.5? then the only issue really running a 15x10 is some strength issues with IFS, if you don't wheel it too hard it should hold up. Just pick something close to stock backspacing or a bit more, not much unless you like the tire sticky out of fender look.

weld wheels deffinetly is that way to go. the 15x10 will be fine. im running that on my 95 (they arent welds but i wish they were). if you know your gonna go to a bigger lift and tire i would even go as far as 15x12. thats just me though

If i were you, i would get 16x8 american racing wheels. I just purchased 16x8 american racing atlas wheels on friday, and they look awesome! Then you should get 285's. 15x10 or any rim that is x10 or larger just doesnt hold up right with ifs.

Re: best wheels/rims for 3\" body lift

16x8 stock? I....am almost positive that stock rims are 16x7, i've run 1994 stock rims, and now run 2001 stock rims, and they are 16x7. SO, I also have a 3" body lift, and if you look in my sig pic or do any kind of search, you will find millions of pictures of my truck o 285's. doesn't look bad at all. But, here is my plan. I will be running 15x8 centerline hellcats with 4 1/2 backspacing with 33x12.5 MT's of some kind. it doesn't matter what width tire for rubbing issues, thats more of a strength of IFS deal. what matters with rubbing is BACKSPACING, so try to get as close to stock as you can. so far the closest i've seen is the 4.5 that i'm getting from centerline, stock backspacing is 5.25"
