Are you all Happy with your ZR2\'s

I'm sort of debating on getting a used Z-71 ext. cab or getting a sort of new 98-99 S10 ZR2. How are the rides, how is power, etc. Give me your thoughts. Are they roomy, they seem smaller than there competers mid size trucks.

Re: Are you all Happy with your ZR2\'s

I currently own a '97 ZR2 and have owned it since I bought it new. My advice to you would be to go with the fullsize. Sure the ZR2 looks mean and performs well, I would have been much happier with the extra room available in a fullsize. Also, I am battling GM right now because my truck is running like sh*t. The computer has a mind of its own and seems to think when I push the clutch in that I want it to rev up. Go figure. Had it corrected once when they flash-calibrated the computer, but they say they can't do it again because the computer will not recognize it. Come to find out it is happening everywhere with this transmission and engine combination. Basically, they are telling me there is nothing else I can do. Looks like a trade-in to me and I won't be buying a Chevrolet if I do.

My .02 cents....
