speedo gear

Hi;
I hope someone can answer this question for me. I ordered a 40 tooth reluctor gear and vehicle speed sensor through my local Chevy dealer and it came in today. I'm going to do a conversion on my truck and the engine computer needs to have the 40 pulse speed sensor type setup on the original transmission. I have it mostly figured out but my only problem is that the reluctor gear I ordered has an outside diameter of 2" and thats too small. Does anyone know what transmission I could pick that would have a larger diameter 40 tooth gear to drive the pulse sensor? Are they all the same size? Thanks.

Re: speedo gear

Hi,

If you don't find the answer here, check out Advance Adapters dot com, and they might be able to help you out.

It might also help to know what engine in going in what truck and with what transmission!
