Building a 2.8

How can i enhance the top end performance of a 2.8 v6? Are the cam and four barrel intake worth the money? I want more of a higher end power than grunt at a low speed. Will getting rid of the mess of vacume lines and egr doodads help any?

Re: Building a 2.8

What year is your 2.8? Unless its an 85 or older, the 4V and intake won't work!
ALL 86UP were TBI fuel injected. The cam is for the 86 UP computer contolled TBI engines. Go to www.614streets.rebondir.com
Thats my friend Will's site, he has a TBI 2.8 on Nitrous with lots of mods.
Good luck.
