84 S-10 Blazer Question

I was wondering about someting i seen on my friends 84 Blazer, and i'm not really sure where it goes. It was a hose that comes from the Transfer case. Looks something like a Vacuum hose. Does anyone know where the hell that goes or what it hooks to?

Re: 84 S-10 Blazer Question

<font face="Comic Sans MS">One hose goes from the intake manifold to the transfer case (switch on top of it), one vacuum line comes from that switch to a vacuum actuator mounted somewhere on the passenger side fender. Either up on the top of the inner fender (where mine is) or below the battery, where a lot seem to be also... Re: 84 S-10 Blazer Question

On the pre-4.3L ones, the actuator is mounted on the passengers inner fender(where the coolant overflow is on a 4.3 one).
