Re: tech4 performance?

The 4 Tech engine is really a Pontiac engine, sometimes called the Iron Duke when used by Jeep in 1980 and 1981. There are performance parts offered by GM for the 4 Tech engine. GM offers a performance cylinder head, and 4 barrel intake manifold, if you want to stop using fuel injection. There are aftermarket camshafts for the 4 Tech engine. The 4 Tech has some nice engine designs, like the 6" connecting rods, also has some real poor engine designs like the OHV design on a 4 cylinder. I've build a 4 Tech engine, and was good, but really for the money, I could have swapped to a 4.3 V6.
Send me a private email if you want more information about the 4 Tech engine I built.
