Leaf Springs

I'm planing on cranking up my front end but I don't really wont shackles in the rear I was just wondering about putting the leaf springs on top of the rear axle instead of below where it is now. Summed up will I get lift by doing this or will the springs flaten out?

Re: Leaf Springs

Ya you can do it, but you would end up with a 4" lift by doing that. Unless you like the stink bug stance, then you are stuck with add-a-leafs or shackles.

Stink Bug Stance = Rear end higher than the front.
It sorta looks like a stink bug how the back is higher than the front.

Re: Leaf Springs

Id say go for the add-a-leafs. www.macromotive.com has them for cheap 1.5" to 2" for about $36 both sides.
