S-10 lift

How much lift would be needed on an S-10 to fit 38.5" or 39.5" tires? Thanks.

<font face="Comic Sans MS">Well not counting the solid front axle swap and swapping out the rear axle as well, you'd probably need about 8 or 10" of lift plus some fender modification. You could go spring over suspension when you do the axle swaps in order to get a few inches of that lift, and go with body lift for a few inches to be able to have less arched springs (flexes better)... </font>
