Those things are nice. Gallons to the miles would suck though. Not bad enough to pay for the rig and you have to gas it to. No way, not on my small check.

Re: FULL-sized SUV\'s!

Just a little to big for my taste and pocket book. And they don't look like they would be to good at those off road trails I like so much.
I wonder if you have to get the 18-wheeler drivers license or if you can just drive it with a regular drivers license like those huge campers.

Re: FULL-sized SUV\'s!

I've seen that sight several times. At first look it seems that I would agree, as I do not like the mall crusing SUV's and the direction the auto makers are taking their SUV's. But, if you read into it more you can really see the tree hugger comming out in the articles. Take for example http://www.eskimo.com/~eliot/suvsuck.html it's not hard to spot the folly in his thinking.

On a related note, I was reading an article on the new Blazers in Automobile mag. Those ignorant (*&#%(#% critized GM for using a solid rear axle. They thought IRS would be better for ride and handeling. Not one mention of off road driving in the article.

Sorry for the little rant.

Hit? Them tires rub. Rubbin's off roadin.
