TBI into an 82 S-10

A couple of years ago I purchased a Brand new Crate 2.8 liter engine complete with AC, alt., and TBI injection (apparently it was the over stock left when they went to the 4.3) Now this motor was used in many different makes of vehicles. I am dropping it into my 82 S-10. I could use the stock carb intake on it but would much rather use the TBI. Where in the H#LL am I going to find a harness ??? The fuel pump is no problem. Painless Wiring only make a harness for the 4.3. I've looked everywhere...Can anyone help!!!! Thanks..John

your best bet is to find a harness from a salvage yard, make sure u get the vehicle speed sensor, park/nuetral switch, computer and relays for fuel pump, distributor, est module, coupling harness, and coil from a '87 and newer

Yes, you should be able to lift the harness from any 86 Up S-series that had a 2.8 which are prevalent in most boneyards.
