Grill Guard for \'95 ZR2?

i want to get a grill guard for my truck, mostly because i want to mount some KC daylighters or some IPF lights bc my stock headlights suck... i was thinkin about gettin a whole brushguard assembly too, but ive been lookin around and im just confused as to who makes the right ones for the ZR2... bunch of manufacturers have them for 4x4 S10s, but alot say they wont fit the ZR2, and some dont specify but im sure theirs dont fit...
i also want to get nerf bars, and maybe i havent been diggin enough, but i know the same deal occurs with them bc the rear shackle on the ZR2s are further back or whatever and the quality nerf bars bolt onto them... i dont want any of that bracket bullsh*t... im sure someones bought both for their ZR2 so... thanks ahead

Re: Grill Guard for \'95 ZR2?

After buying all the aftermarket 'Crap' out there I have found it would be cheaper to buy yourself a tube bender and make them yourself.. Plus with a bender you will gain a lot of friends in the 4x4 world.. Most of the nerf bars you see out there on the market are 'Step' bars and not intended for 'nerfing' or rock sliders as they are called now.. I have pre-runner style front and rear on my truck and again I could have had better if I had just built it myself.. Then the cage in the bed is totaly worthless because it mounts to the bed and not the frame.. Makes a good tire holder, thats about it.. You can easily spend $800 for bars all around your truck for looks.. Or spend $1000 and make your own exactly how you want them and probably make that back in a year making them for your friends.. Go here: http://www.jd2.com/ for the best bender for the money..

thanks troy... i actually just ordered a grill guard from Smittybuilt bc they had an application for ZR2s... but your right, it would be worth gettin a bender bc i want nerf bars, a rollbar, and bed bars too... ive got some friends that wouldnt mind shellin out $ for me to make them too...

Re: Grill Guard for \'95 ZR2?

If they make a grill guard for ZR2's and the ZR2 is 3 inches higher that a regular S-10 will that grill guard work on my S-10 with a 3" body lift?
