2000 Blazer 4x4 Question

I have a new 2000 LS 4x4 and have noticed that my left rear wheel is not the same distance from the fender as it is on the right rear. If you look at the vehicle from behind, visually it looks as though the left tire lines up with the body and the right tire is inset about an inch and a half. Is this standard from the plant? I didn't notice it until I threw a set of mud flaps on it.

Steve.
