Does anyone know how to hotwire the torque converter clutch? I an trying to diagnose a TCC problem and I want to be able to control the lock-up manually (too see if the prob in the tranny or ECM/sensor problem).

Hit? Them tires rub. Rubbin's off roadin.

Re: TCC problem

Your ALDL connector has a pin which goes dirrectly to the tcc (if your truck is between about 1987 and 1995). You should just need to ground that pin and it will lock up. I had a problem with mine where the solenoid was fried and measured less than one ohm of resistance across it. You can check that by measureing at the connector on the side of the tranny.
Hope this helps,
