Will dual exhaust make my 4.3 95 sound better?

I have a 4.3 1995 4x4 blazer and I am wanting to put dual exhaust on it. What I am wondering is will this make it sound better? Im not to worried about more power what I want is to make it sound like a v8

On my 94 S-10 with a 4.3 i put duels for the same reason sounds pretty good like a V8. I had them made with a gibson muffler. But its not like one of those mufflers you can here coming. At highway speed you can't here it. But at slow speeds it sounds pretty nice. O and the gibson muffler has the quiet in the cab design so i only here it at the tail pipes.

Re: Will dual exhaust make my 4.3 95 sound better?

I wanted to put duals on my blazer, but the guys at the shop said that on the driver side the pipe would have been super close to the fuel filter and that it wasnt smart to have that much heat that close to fuel stuff, so i went with a pipe that looks stock coming out the back, so you may wanna look into that too.

Ahh dual exhaust. I did true duals on my 91 s-10. i went with jba headers, no y pipe, 2.5 inch pipe to dual cats, then to flowmasters 2 chamber 40 seris, then 2.5 all the way back. The trucks sounds great, it has a nice rumble a idle. Get on it and it sounds loud and like a v8. Hope this helps.

Try as you might, nothing you can ever do to a V6 will duplicate the sounds of a V8.
