fuel pressure

I'm still fighting my blazer (89 4.3L) I cut the fuel line on the left side were it runs along the valve cover and put an adapter to check fuel pressure and its getting 8, the manual I have , which happens to be a piece of junk chiltons says it should be from 9 to 13. would this 1 lbs diffrence make that big of diffrence. it only misses in mid to low throttle if I stick my foot in it it goes no problem.

Re: fuel pressure

To get an accurate fuel pressure check the motor needs to be under load, i.e. on the highway or on a dyno...figure out where your cut off points are then see what the fuel pressure is doing..
