\'69 327 worth?

I just came across a 1969 Chevy C30 (rear dual axle) automatic with a 327 engine, 4 barrel carb. Can anyone give me an idea of the current value of just the engine? It runs good and has 77,000 original miles.

No Stranger to the trail.

Re: \'69 327 worth?

If you run the numbers off the block, and you find its a 327 4 bolt main, then its worth quite a bit! I bought one in a junkyard once from a 70 C20 that we all thought was just a 2barrel 350 when we tore it down for a rebuild, it was a 4 bolt main, and when we ran the casting #s it was a 327! Not bad for $200! The block alone was worth about $500! These engines are pretty rare as it is, 4BM are even rarer!
