Manik brushgaurds

Wow are these guys professional.

Here is the email i wrote them:To whom it may concern:
I have a 2 inch body lift on my 2000 2door chevy
blazer 4x4, my question is, is there a way i can mount
a set of your front brushgaurds on my vehicle since
the body is now 2 inches above the frame? I assume
your product mounts through existing holes in the
frame, could i simply drill new holes in the mounting
portion of the brushgaurd?

This is what back:
HELLO MR. RYAN OUR GRILL GUARD DONT WORK WITH A BODY LIFT.

that is a direct copy of their reply.
Makes ya wonder doenst it???

Wow. That really sucks... Aren't Manik the really expensive ones??? Just wondering. I know they make stuff for the Toyota 4-Runner... and it's not cheap for what you get.

Sounds like little Billy is at the keyboard again.. Give him credit he is a 3 year old monkey I trained a few years ago to do help desk and customer support.. Wonder where he went, last I heard he worked at 4WP..
You could probably get it to work but a little cutting and a little welding could do it on the mounting tabs.. Thats what I had to do to mine.. If its a setup you like go for it.. No one is going to volume make one specific to body lifts and such.. Not enough market..

Re: Manik brushgaurds

Yeah i mean i know that there isnt a market for people with just body lifts, i was just hoping that maybe they could offer some input in how to alter their product to make it suitable for my vehicle. Oh well Im sure i can make it work if i decide to go with it.

Re: Manik brushgaurds

Well the first e-mail i posted here was from the tech guys. I just got one back from the sales department, (accidently sent it to them first) Here is that they had to say:Hello Ryan
Unfortunately our front bar will not work with body lifts. If you have
any
questions call us at (800)457-7645.

Much better, huh? Thought since i pointed out there bads i should point out their goods too.
