Re: Front bearing replacement?

Hey Zilla, They suck!!!! I just recently had to replace both wheel bearings up front. It's hard to give a price because when I did the front driver side it was about $1100 with new brakes installed and cv joint. About a month later the passenger side went out $1200 that was with new rotor up front rear brakes and new lower ball joints. The cost for parts is fairly cheap, about $250 per wheel bearing. It's the labor that killed me and the other parts that went out as a result of driving on shot wheel bearings. Anyways good luck, Get that bad ass truck on the road soon, Steve

Re: Front bearing replacement?

Ohhhh, been there and done that.. Cost too much for some one else to do it.. My bill was like $750 for driver side and both lower ball joints.. Last time i did it myself it was about $175 per bearing.. You can do it yourself but get the FSM or Haynes first.. Check balljoints at the same time..

Re: Front bearing replacement?

Thanks for all the help guys.I have a haynes manual and it helps some!
I have checked around and found only one good price. Auto zone has the
hub assembly and bearing assembly for $92.00. I think that price bets some
of the other guys prices which were $150.00 plus!!!
