Gear Ratios!!

Here's some of the most common gears from the GM production option list (THIS ISN'T A COMPLETE LIST)
They may have more than one three digit code for the same ratio, it seems that they have different codes for different size axles. I'll try to get the pages scaned and post them also.

Re: Gear Ratios!!

Go to You'll find a phone number. That place is Randy's Ring and Pinion. They have some awesome tech people, you might want to call them for prices. These people will help you whether you're a customer or not, they give you advice even if you call them up and give no indication that you're going to buy anything.. I would have no worries at all buying from them considering how well they treat you before they sale, they'd have to be at least as good after the sale... Re: Gear Ratios!!

Hey bigmileage, why not just skip the 3.73's and go for 4.10's. I couldn't justify such a big $$ for a small jump in ratios.

Besides, you could do this even if you have a 2.8!

Hit? Them tires rub. Rubbin's off roadin.
