locking front hubs?

I have a 2000 S-10 Blazer 4wd. are the hubs the type that lock in and out automaticaly or does the S-10 have that feature. I jacked the front up, and the front axles turned when I turned the wheels.

Re: locking front hubs?

S trucks do not have locking hubs. The CV shafts turn all the time. These trucks use a mechanism that actuates something in the front differential to engage it so that power gets transmitted to the front wheels themselves.
