Vibrations

Anyone want a drivable vibrating massage chair???? well that is what my truck feels like. It starts to vibrate at about 60 mph, not a rough vibration, like shaking, but like a vibrating chair type... would my cv joints cause this??? any other ideas what might cause this?
thanks guys

Re: Vibrations

I think your answer may be in your Sig? "Yoko M/Ts" take it in to your tire shop and have the balancing checked.

Re: Vibrations

Has it always done the vibrating chair thing, or just since you've added or rotated the tires? If it's always done that, then it wouldn't just be the tires... Not sure what might cause it, but my 85 T15 chooses to vibrate between 55 and 60 mph (indicated speed)... haven't been able to track it down yet...

Re: Vibrations

i don't think it is the tires, it just started last week, and i've had the tires about 6 months now.

Re: Vibrations

A balance weight could have came off of one of your wheels, might be something to look at, other than that I'm not sure... sorry...

Re: Vibrations

Might want to check your u-joints over real well also, but it does sound like a wheel weight.... Good Luck
