question

O.k. my question is , I have a 97 Sonoma 2.2l 4cyl i would like to beef it up a bit. i don't take it off-road hardly, it is more of a daily driver. If I add a 2inch body lift and SAW torsion bars what is the biggest size tire that I can fit? Also how much should I expect to pay for it?

thanks

Re: question

With a 2 inch body lift alone, I'm easily fitting 30 x 9.5 BFG All-Terrains. If you go with 31's you'll get a little rubbing...

The SAW torsion bars might give you more clearance but not that much. Without a lift kit (ie, drop brackets, etc.) your actual gained clearance is going to be minimal.

Re: question

Are you sure its a 4WD?? Only those have torsion bars.. Have not heard they sell the 2.2 with 4wd.. Otherwise you have springs.. You can either get longer springs or lifted spindles..
