2\" Body lift

I am looking to buy a 2" body lift for my 1996 extended cab 4x4. First of all, which company offers the best kit? Does the fact that my truck is extended cab make a difference or are there the same number of mounts as a regular cab? Performance Accessories seems to offer a pretty good lift has anyone else had much luck with them? What kind of problems might I run into while installing it, besides cutting the fan shroud? Anything you all could offer is greatly appreciated.
