Any one ever run or know about monro re-flex shocks. Do they suck or what? Are they about equivalent to the bulstiens? Any comments are appreshiated.

Re: monro

No, but I've always bought Monroe shocks on everything. I have Monroe Max Gas shocks on my 89. They are 3 yrs old and like new too. They came with a lifetime warranty and were less than $200 set. They ride kinda stuff on bumps like the Bilstiens on my ZR2. I really like those Bilseins too. You can get them about $50 ea. I can give you a link, but I'll have to look for it. But, don't trucks ride that way? I don't have desert runners. Tom

Re: monro

Yah, Monroe is a decent street shock but at higher speeds like desert running (which you may or may not do!) they tend to fade a bit.

Incidentally, Monroe Shocks = Rancho. One company owns another and I can't remember which is which. This is one of the reasons you find them at Sears.

Yes, Tenneco Automotive owns both Monroe and Rancho.
