Old Fashioned, Bolt-on fun

I just bought a 1976 Chevy LWB single cab 4x4 with a 350...only has 6K miles on new engine. I want to BOLT ON some power. This new engine is all stock bored .030. I know I can add headers and high rise intake. Can you guys who know these old trucks and engines give me some ideas on what I can expect from "bolt on" items? All I've ever done is do exhaust, intake, and programmers on diesels. So, I'm a little rusty on the basic gas engine upgrades.

Current truck description: 35x12.5 BFG M/T, 7" lift, true dual exhaust w/no headers, and stock intake and carburetor.

What are my options and what should I expect? I'm looking for the cheapest to the more costly...except for changing engines.

Thanks in advance for your input.
