My 1987 GMC S15 (56k no!)

I have more money into this truck than I want to acknowledge, but I love it. She's a never-ending project and I have many more upgrades/tweaks planned. Before anyone says it, SFA is not in the near future. I have no problem with the IFS and no real need to go SFA. I don't need additional lift hight and I like my lower center of gravity (especially since I use the roof rack). This truck gets me to some pretty amazing places, and always have opportunities to take some cool pictures.


















When I first got the truck, it was a hacked up pile of crap. Every body panel was rotted beyond repair, filled with expanding foam - and finally covered in body filler. The only thing holding the bed on was the gas filler neck, because everything else rotted off. I replaced almost everything in/on the truck, minus the drivetrain and frame.



This is what it looked like when I first purchased it:


I went wheelin' as soon as it had plates:


Then tore into it, replacing most of the truck:





After getting it mostly back together:


Added bumpers and other things, then wheelin:
