2 amp draw

my little sisters 02 chevy blazer 2dr has a 2amp draw coming off of fuse 19 in the fuse block. it killed the battery once already. fuse 19 is for the radio, its rated to 15 amps and looks in perfect condition. normally the draw from the radio is gonna be at or below 0.5 amps, just enough to keep the crystal for the radio clock and presets in the memory. anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue, could be the radio, something in the radio? or something else in line with that fuse, amp, preamp? any thoughts or ideas would be great because im sure the dealer would want half the value of the car to fix.

Re: 2 amp draw

i'd start by removing stuff and seeing if you still have a draw of some kind. 2 amps is a mess of power, i'd be leaning toward something shorting out. any other dash lights on that circuit? such as the little friendly guy in the glove box that could be stuck on?
