Body lift question

I have a 98 four door 4x4 jimmy I wanting to put a 2" or 3" body lift on. I know a lift will effect the center of gravity but will it put any undo stress on any other components and bad will it effect handleing and the ride? I know it wil notride really smooth just wondering how big a difference it will make.

I am also going to put either 30 or 31" inch tires on it most likley bucksot mudders.

Re: Body lift question

A BL should not effect the ride of your vehicle. It will allow you to run a larger tire size. The tires will effect your ride quality. A lot more noise and vibration.

Re: Body lift question

body lifts are just bad ideas. esp one of that height. keep in mind that a bunch of things are attached to the body and also the frame. you increase that distance, you run into problems.
