Brake lines

Hey guys im changing out the brake lines on my blazer, the rear are 1/4 inch no problem so far running them, whne i wehnt to hook into the master cylinder the fitting is huge! I measured the old line its 1/4 but the fitting is 2x as big. Any ideas? I really didnt wanna have to flare and make my own line.
Thanks
