reaching a cross road

I have reached a crossroad with my 1992 S10 Exc. cab 4X4 with a 5 speed manual transmission and three in body lift. I recently have had to accept the fact that the motor in the truck, with 165thousand miles had finaly pooped out on me and now I must find a new motor being a 4.3L or sell it as is. If anyone is intrested in buying the truck for $2000.00 let me know I think it would be the perfact project for a V8 swap. or if any one has a 4.3L for sale and willing to part with it at a reasonable price who lives farly close to the florida panhandle please respond I have looked around the area and the only motors I have found were super high priced. I am talkin I could get a new vortec from the dealership for the same price just about.

Re: reaching a cross road

Recent search on eBay showed a 31K 4.3 with auto tranny for $1100. New Crate 4.3 from Pace Performance runs about $2200. That help any?
