spacers to widen my stance?

Hi, I'm new to all of this. I've had a 93 S-10 Blazer since it was born, but just put a 2" suspension lift on it. I'm wondering if I can put spacers on the wheels to push them out a bit and make driving a little safer. Any advice?

Thanks,
Betsy

Re: spacers to widen my stance?

yes you can. I had a set of 1.25 inch spacers made by design deluxe mfg ( www.wheeladapter.com ). you have to contact them for a price quote. I cant remember how much they were. The only problem with wheel spacers is that the wider stance will cause you to rub when you turn too sharp.
