removing front bumper

is there anything special to getting the front bumper off of a 2001 2wd S10?

i figured it would just be a few bolts and my ratchet set will do it.....is this true? what tools will i need?

you should get yourself one of those chiltons manuals. they're expensive but well worth it. It will explain pretty much exactly what you need to know about a lot of the shade tree mechanic jobs you can do yourself.

thanks...........but thats beer money. today we tore into them and they are both off....only problem is the new ones dont have clear coat, just primer and flat black paint.....looks likr we are painting tonight.

if anyone does this, get metric wrenchs....18mm 15mm 7mm and PB blast the day before.....i wish we had.
