A/C Heater control switch

I have a 95 Sonoma 4WD P/U. V6 auto. Went to charge the A/C yesterday and noticed that the fan is blowing DEF only. I turned the switch to try and get it to come out of the vent , or anywhere else for that matter, but no luck. Anyone have an idea of where I should start ?????

Re: A/C Heater control switch

i know its all run with vacum. so i would take the 2 screws holding the control to the dash then unplug the colored lines running into the bottom of the control. unplug it and start the truck. if it sucks air than chances are you need to replace the switch but if not your lookin at compressor problems.. goood luck
