slow take off part 2

Well it took a 1200 mile road trip up north to Iowa to find out what was going on under the hood of my truck. In part the slow take off was was a combo of about few things First thing was the vacum lines were all old and needed replaced second was and oil leak but that was more help than harm. The huge puddle of oil it left in the driveway overnight was the taddle tail leving behind the true problem. A bad manifold intake gasket was letting water flow into the oil. Lucky for me I didn't blow the motor. But it did put a damper in the hunting trip. I still have to do some more little things to get it just right. when I got it back from the shop and took it out for a little weheeling I rembered why I like the S-10 so much. Small enought to fit down the smallest trail and powerful enough to go up the steepest hill or thickest mud If built right.

Re: slow take off part 2

I know the full size trucks had issues with the manifold gasket, but didn't realize the S-10's did too! Good thing you didn't blow the motor, like you said.
