94 AND UP (REAREND UPGRADES)

I TALKED TO CARRIE ABOUT 9" REARENDS. THEY SAY THAT THE ABS
WILL CAUSE MAJOR PROBLEMS DELETING IT FROM COMPUTER PROGRAM SYSTEM.DO I HAVE TO LOSE ABS TO GET HEAVY DUTY REAREND AXLE? [img]images/graemlins/RockOn.gif[/img]

Hey,

First off, just as a matter of netiquette, CAPS MEANS YOU'RE SHOUTING AT PEOPLE!!! Now,

I'm pretty sure you're hosed with an upgrade and the current ABS. The only thing I can think of is if GM used the same ABS systems on both the full size and mid-size pickups. And by computer does he mean the trucks computer or just the ABS modules? I know that my '98 S-10 with disc brakes just had a little magnetic nub front and rear to control the ABS, but my '98 full size has drum rears. Maybe they are interchangeable?
