<font face="Comic Sans MS">A very wise investment for any vehicle, if you're planning to keep it and do the work yourself (especially a newer computer controlled vehicle) would be to procure yourself a copy of the manufacturer's Factory Service Manual for that specific year... It'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know about how they recommend going about fixing things, craploads of diagnostic charts, and how to run diagnostic tests... The downside to these manuals is they cost anywhere from $50 to 100 usually, however, check E-bay and other places, you may find a considerably better deal on it... Just make sure it's the one specifically for your year/make/etc...
I don't think the Chevy Tracker is a rebadged suzuki product anymore, however I could be wrong, it's been a considerable amount of time since I've looked at those... You might want to try in the "Suzuki" section of this BBS anyhow, can't hurt... Good luck...</font>
