something magical happened

umm the drivers side drum won't go on unless i force it. is this normal sometimes with new shoes/drums? i got new hardware too. the passenger side went on easily but the drivers side primary shoe is hanging on the drum for some reason and won't let the drum slide over unless you bash it.

Re: something magical happened

You'll probably need to bleed the air out of the brakes and it'll even out. Did you also have the drums turned when you replaced the shoes?

Re: something magical happened

the drums are new, can you bleed the rears with the drums off? cus on the one side, forcing the drum on causes the primary shoe to cock back, and im not sure if the cylinder piston is hitting the shoe correctly

Re: something magical happened

then without seeing it I'd have to guess that something is installed wrong or an incorrect part is in there
