Sandman: Silver Lake requirements...

I want to bring my rig up later in the year and I know there are sound regulations, what about safety? My truck is a 3/4 frame with about 12" subframe/body lift and the body is an s10 blazer with the top cut off to resemble a pickup. It has a 366 BBC with no exhaust but I can get some mufflers and pipes bent. I want to be up there later like august or so... thanks

It has to have a roll cage, *or* structural body in tact around passenger compartment... It *will* need mufflers, catalytic converter, or other flame arresting device... It can produce a sound measured at the rear of the vehicle no greater than 92 or 93 decibels...

A variety of other crap too... They've changed some junk like that since last I've been there... Will try to find a link sometime...
