Changing Chevy Blazer Tranny

Here's the deal fellas...I neeed help. With got a 1988 S10 Blazer 4x4. We're gradually turning it into our 4x4 toy, but we're having some problems that I need solved by tomorrow. We're replacing the transmission, and we're having some trouble getting it out. It's completely unhooked, but it doesn't want to come out (easily anyways). There's a plate around the area of the torsion bars that is holding it in. What all do we have to take off to get the tranny to drop? Any advice, hints, tips, etc. are GREATLY appreciated.
thnx

Re: Changing Chevy Blazer Tranny

you can drop the tranny crossmember and the T-bar crossmember (be sure to unload all tension on the T-bars, otherwise someone is gonna get hurt.) And if there's a skidplate, pull that too.
