Power steering pump removal?

Does anyone know how to remove the power steering pump from the engine on a 95 4.3 CPI? It looks like it has an allan key in the center of the pulley.

Re: Power steering pump removal?

You'll need a pulley puller. If you don't have one, they can be found at any parts store, and some places (at least where I live) do loan-a-tool.

Do I need to get the center bolt out first? It doesn't seem to want to move and you can't get any pressure on it anyways.

That's what the puller is for.

Re: Power steering pump removal?

It actually came off really easy. I grabbed the proper puller from work. Live and learn, I guess. Thanks for the help.
