Carb Problems?

This is kind of a generic question about 2 barrel carbs. I have a 2.8L carburated engine in my 84 Blazer, everytime I turn right the truck stalls. Everything goes out, lights, stereo, everything. It starts immediately afterwards without any problems. Turning left is fine, just turning right is the problem. Is that my float in my carb? Should I rebuild it? Any other ideas
Thanks

Re: Carb Problems?

It doesnt sound like a carb problem to me. Not if your sterio and lights go out. Sounds like you have a loose wire. And when you turn right your body rolls and the wire looses connection. Its most likly the ground from the batt or such. Good luck.

Re: Carb Problems?

it is not the carb, it is an electrical problem or more likely in the steering column and ignition switch
