an aftermarket air system like K&N , or make your own, I am in the process of doing this.

Re: 6cyl. mods

For what it's worth, I picked up an Air Raid filter "system", which is just a pipe with a filter, and if you're looking to make sure it has a CARB number, instead of making your own, it was about $100 cheaper than the K&N.

Noticed a definite difference in power with mine. Not enough to cancel out other mods, but definitely a good invenstment. And it's got a cleanable air filter similar (identical???) to the K&N.

My $.02

Re: 6cyl. mods

After the intake do headers.. JBA is the way to go.. Im running the Edelbrocks now and they do perform much better than stock. Not sure how much longer they are going to hold together.. This is my second leak since I have had them.. In between the tubes.. And Edel does NOT stand behind their product the way they should..
