Tough call. Keep in mind that your market is primarily folks who are using it for repairs. Virtually no one goes to all the trouble of a conversion to put in IFS. How likely that a break will be the ENTIRE thing?
Last year when my front diff grenaded, I paid $50 for a used front with 3.42 gearing. I found one with 3.73 for $60. Both were at least acquanitances/friends.
Very limited market is the problem. I wouldn't plan on selling it offsetting the costs significantly but you can make a buddy for life when you sell it to someone who really NEEDS it for so much less than dealer or junkyard costs.
