99 S10 Blazer to clear 33\'s

I need to put 33's under a 99 Chevy Blazer S10, not ZR2. Need to do this without a body lift and with very minimal fender trimming. I have thought about removing the existing IFS set up and installing a ZR2 IFS which then I can get a lift to clear the tires or just going straight axle conversion, which is my preference, in which case I need an axle with disc brakes to put up front.

Re: 99 S10 Blazer to clear 33\'s

a Stagewest style SFA conversion will give you about 5" of lift. plenty to run 33"s.

The Fabritech Coil kit will give you 9-11" and will clear 35s.

Re: Where is Stagewest 5\"?

You cant buy a kit as of right now, Stagewest stopped sellin theirs, and Fabritomuchmoney hasnt started sellin theirs yet, do the research do the math, then decide if your ready to build your own, if this isnt a vehicle that is used off-road alot, youd be better buyin an IFS lift and not hackin on a newer truck. like I said do the reasearch then decide, if you need a D30 front axle holler, I got 3 of em!!!

Re: Where is Stagewest 5\"?

note I said Stagewest STYLE. sprung under front D30, sprung over 10-bolt rear. Gotta fab up the brackets & crossmembers, but I heard you can still get the odd bracket from Stagewest, but you gotta call direct.
Fabritech is gonna be GRANDE expensive, like 2100-2300 bucks US for everything BUT the axle. If you wanna spend that kind of jack, go hard. Or go my route: Make friends with a suspension expert who knows how to weld.
