Son of a ........

Well I don't have an annoying squeak from my back hatch anymore. Some bastard decided to smash it last night and steal a bunch of crap from my truck. Glad I have insurance though, the glas shop told me that the glass is $1700!!!!! Holy crap. So there is another way to stop the squeak, although I don't recommend it.

hey i had the same squeek.. IF i would haev known I could have told u, just oil the latch, both ends, i had that squeek too, and i Used this, Zoom Lube stuff havent had a peep out of it! but I guess thats no good if ya dont have a hatch right?! well sorry to hear, and hope you find out who it is, and if ur new one squeeks, If its the squeek I think it is, jsut oil it.

that sucks, I have the same squeak, but mine is cause the little loop that goes into the latch is gouged out , I just put 100mph tape on it every couple of months, Im a cheap-o!!
